By accessing or using Codag (the "Service"), including the hosted API and SDKs, you agree to these Terms. Codag is a developer tool that compresses infrastructure log data into structured incident summaries for use with LLM agents.

Acceptable use

You may use the Service for any lawful technical purpose. You agree not to:

  • Resell or proxy the API to third parties without a written agreement.
  • Submit content you don't have the right to process (e.g., logs containing third-party PII without authority).
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or authentication.
  • Use the Service to develop a directly competing log-compression product.
  • Reverse-engineer the hosted infrastructure.

Accounts and API keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your API keys and for all activity that occurs under them. Notify [email protected] immediately if you suspect a key has been compromised.

Plans and billing

Paid plans renew monthly until canceled. Usage above plan-included volumes is metered and billed in arrears at the rates listed on the pricing page. We may adjust pricing with at least 30 days' written notice.

Service availability

We target high availability but the hosted Service is provided as-is, without warranty. SLAs apply only on Enterprise plans with a written agreement.

Customer data

You retain all rights to the log data, traces, spans, metrics, and other diagnostic data you submit. You grant Codag the rights needed to process that data to provide, secure, meter, support, debug, and improve the Service. Before storage, we redact submissions by scrubbing identifiers (JWTs, tokens, emails, IPs, UUIDs, FQDNs, phone numbers, long secrets) so that what we retain is the structural shape of the diagnostic payload, not the identifying values inside it. Redaction is best-effort, and you are responsible for having the rights and notices required to submit data to the Service. We retain redacted payloads and the per-customer template cache they produce while your account is active so the warm path stays warm. We may use a de-identified, PII-scrubbed copy of submitted logs to improve and train Codag's own models (the templater and classifier); we do not send your logs to third-party LLM providers, and the per-customer template cache is not pooled across customers. Free, no-account submissions may be retained in encrypted form for up to 30 days unless you opt out per request. You may request full deletion at any time and we will comply within 30 days. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

Service telemetry

Codag may collect and use usage telemetry, reliability metrics, quota records, billing events, and cost metrics to operate the Service, prevent abuse, plan capacity, improve the product, and make pricing and packaging decisions. Workspace owners may opt out of non-essential product analytics, but essential service telemetry, security logs, billing records, and quota records are required for the hosted Service.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms, abuse, or unpaid invoices. You may cancel at any time from the dashboard.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codag is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions an LLM agent makes when reasoning over a Codag-produced capsule. Total liability is capped at fees paid in the prior twelve months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA.

Changes

We may update these terms; changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
